Check out your options on http://www.hubbuzz.com. This site lets you search for apartments by prices you're looking for. Also, it will tell you off great neighborhoods to live. If you're worried about how much more utilities could cost you, just search for apartments that already are included in the price of rent!! Hope this helps!

I think it's about a $1000 for a 1 bedroom plus utilities .
Most places require 1st month , last month and security deposit usually equal to 1 months rent , to get in .

Apartments you rent. You can't buy them. It depends on how much you can afford the monthly rent. If you can't afford it alone, find roommates to live with you or interview to be a roommate. Eventually, you will find a place to live.

It depends what area...a crappy one in Compton, or a ritzy one in Beverly Hills. Whatever the rent is, add about $300/month for electricity, gas, water, cable, internet, etc.
