My personal opinion is that we are far too easy going. I remember when I was young that if we got out of hand, the police could give us a clip round the ear and take us home where we got a hiding ! I think that the police need to take a more harder line and I also think that we ought to look at BOOT CAMPS for offenders. The police do nothing. They do not go into areas where there is heavy youth crime ? Gangs need to be stamped out. It's not only the police but the law in general. I am looking forward to hearing other peeps views on this. I wonder how many thumbs down I get lol.

I honestly think we need better parents. There are so many kids out there in the world to day that are raising themselves, or they are being raised by elderly grandparents. We as parents set the examples. If we don't show our children the way, someone else will. God Bless.

i agree with you and i remember those GOOD OLE DAYS
even one day when a mate and me were scrumping and got caught by the cops,,we were Young then, the cop offered us a choice of 6 months inside,, tell our dads or, return the apples with a clip round the ear of the policeman,, the clip hurt but never did it again
there is not enough discipline in the homes schools or no where so kids do what they want and get away with most of it
i had the Cain the slip[per of dad and headmasters,, look at me now (a reck) working ,, good life and happy BRING BACK THE CAIN AND DISCIPLINE it will work with most youths,, teach them the right things in life not,, hey if you do this to me i can sue you even some families can be sued by their kids if you clip them around the legs,, then the kids think they are tuff,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

i think its this blooming Human rights act which is at fault - and a too close alliance with Europe. i think sovereignty in each coujntry is important because each country has its specific characteristics that dont necessarily suit other countries. These laws giving criminals all these rights are totally wrong and its the victims of crime that suffer as a result, not the criminals
