I have never researched this name before last night, I was praying and that name just came to me I have never heard of anyone named Israel. I am not pregnant but I felt that I was leaning towards that name for a baby girl.

It's a name for a very strong child. I like it--when she got older she would understand why you gave her the name. The only thing is, it's not very feminine, it's sort of gender neutral.

Maybe--you could give her a cute middle name and she could use that as a nickname?

I've never heard that name on a girl before, only on boys. But, if it came to you by prayer, then take it as a special sign, and give your future baby that name, whether you have a girl or a boy.

I think it's beautiful and if you got it from praying, then it may be a sign. I think it sounds better for a girl than a boy, but I've never heard it used before.

Be prepared, some may ask for a reason WHY you picked that name...

You know, since it came up in a prayer, perhaps its best to name your baby that way becaus God tells you its ideal. Kinda like Gabriel the angel tells Mary that she will have a son and will name him Emanuel.

I knew a guy named Israel. He was nice. :) I think, as long as you don't name your child something stupid after a fruit, mode of transportation, or a website, I think you're doing just fine. Good luck!!!

Daniella Christine Pearce is a candy woman descendant call. i'm guessing that "Pearce" is the surname? besides, Daniella and Christine sounds stylish at the same time. And the three names mentioned at the same time is amazing. *i like the form you chosen to spell Christine with "Ch". There such particularly some transformations on spelling Christine.*

There are plenty of people named Israel except they are all boys (and Jewish).
