He read 'The Kite Runner', 'A Thousand Splendid Suns', and more recently, 'The Road'. He really enjoys reading when he has the chance. But of course, my taste is a little different than his!

Anyone have some good suggestions?

Oh, and he's 26. I figure his age would be helpful!

Cormac McCarthy's - All the Pretty Horses is also very good. It is much more masculine that the title suggests.

I also enjoy Tom Robbins and Chuck Palanhuik. Any of their books should be suitable for the male reader.

Some others 'guy' books I have read and enjoyed:
Bowden - Black Hawk Down
Bissinger - Friday Night Lights
Kesey - One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest
Krakauer - Into Thin Air
Shaara - Killer Angels
