No. But when I was given a field sobriety test and asked to recite the alphabet I asked if he wanted it backward. The cop said sure. When I got to T he stopped me. He said I don't know if you did it right or not but that's good enough for me. I learned it backward as a joke.

I've ran into that question once or twice myself so I memorized the alphabet backwards. Cops don't know what to do next when you get done reciting it.

No, because I actually can say the alphabet backwards just as fast as forwards. It's a bizarre and useless talent, but would come in handy if that did happen, lol.

My hubby's a cop-- and he KNOWS I can't recite the alphabet backwards. Hell, I can't even remember my name half the time ; )

Yes! I always think about that when I watch those cop shows. I can only get to S without doing it forward to see what is next....R comes next.

I certainly would. I would also keep my mouth shut about the fact that if that was his only reason for suspecting my impairment..I was about to make a lotta money off him and his city.
