The holy Quran has a wonderful teaching in this context, if you care to follow.Quran says nothing can give satisfaction except remembering God.When you remember God it should be meaningful i.e. you think of His attribute and your obligations towards those attributes.Say, if God created you a sane and physically perfect man and bestowed upon you resources, what should you had you done as return? He arranged all the requirements for all times to come as such what have you done for those to whom you are socially responsible? This will put you on the track of constructive thinking. Please study an authentic translation of Quran leaving aside the negative propaganda as an unsiased gentleman at large. You can have a free copy of tranlations in almost 60 laguages of the world from, the Head of Ahmeddiyya Community in Islam, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmed, 16 Gressenhall Road,London, SW18, 5QL,UK or http.//www. alislam.org or http.//www.mta.tv

think about what you are worrying about, think of the reason why you are worrying, then think of the fact it may not happen, think of if it does happen what you can do to solve the problem. Think rationally.

Meditation is also good. Read up on deep breathing, close your eyes, breath in, fill your lungs then keep bretahing in until you fill up deep into your belly, the exhale slowly, controlling your breathing.:) hey presto, stop worrying, you'll go grey and waste precious times in your life when you could have been having a *oh well, it may happen but hey whats the worst it can do to me? type attitude!

Breathe in....Breathe out... Huhhhh. Picture yourself somewhere relaxing. A beach, school. Think of something nicer. Then rant and rave. Take a piece of paper and write your feelings. Post it on the fridge. Leave the house. Then come back, and ask around if anyone read it. If they did did, discuss it. Then take a nap. And relax.

Try Bach's Rescue Remedy, it's a completely organic formula to help calm nerves. You can either put some in a bottle of water, or straight onto your tongue. I use it to calm my nerves before my clarinet exams and performances, it really works a lot! :)

Stop drinking alcohol, it causes depression, the more you have the more depression.
If you must drink, or even if you don`t, follow these instructions.
I have offset that by preparing a mixture of three yeast-vite tables mixed with warm water and honey.
Place it on your bedside table and drink it about an hour before you get up.
It really works wonders.

Depends on what and where? If at home a long soak in the bath with no distractions.
If out and about try to find somewhere a bit more peaceful like a park and woodland and destress.
If at work can't really do much except bite my tongue and suffer it until I can sort it out.

I have been there. I think you need to seek medical help. Worrying for no real reason is caused by some other condition which a doctor will be able to help you with.

I used to have panic attacks as well but what helped me was someone else talking logic to me. Wether that be in person or on the phone or texting. Try that. If this is still going on I would ask my docter for advice
