I find I have much better success hitting the curve ball when I use one.

We, here in Arkansas, use them for our goal posts! And, we've found that by doing this, the players are generally able to score. However, occasionally a few, not unlike yourself, are never able to perform with any degree of accuracy!

I would slice it up and deep fry it, you naughty boy!! You might get some and you might not.
