"There I am and suddenly an explosion is heard, someones leg falls in front of me. Oh wait, I don't need to picture it, I remember it. I was there. Yeah it's hell over there, but if you think it will save more Iraqi lives by us pulling out then your out of your mind.

You try picturing this: 15 kids surround you with smiles on their faces as you hand out goodies in front of a new school that was built by our servicemen and women. Or their parents laughing, shaking your hand and thanking you for helping them. Wait I'm sure you can't, because the liberal media won't show you that part of what's going on over there.

Get a clue. Not only will more people die if we leave that country, but even more terrorist will be created. "

I read it to my mother, who is a liberal democrat and she said it was very nice. She agrees that the media gives a biased picture of what is going on over there - she has enough friends with kids over there to know.

And personally, I think that quote is fantastic and wish the media were not so biased. My nephew (on my husband's side) was over there twice and said it is nothing like the media portrays it.

I've seen that part of the war on liberal media, I've seen a lot of stuff that portray what they're doing over there in a good light. I also know how I would feel if I was an Iraqi in that situation, and I certainly wouldn't want anyone invading my country and telling me how to live or how my government should work, regardless if it's better, it's not for us to decide and it never was. Yes more people will die if they leave and even more will die if they stay. Either way terrorists are being born every time you kill someone over there. The question is do you want that blood on your hands or that blood on someone else's hands? And do you want that blood to be American, or Iraqi? It's bad either way, but there isn't a way around it. We got ourselves into something we couldn't get out of because we under estimated the capabilities of the enemy, and that's the same exact reason why America isn't under British rule to this day. It goes around full circle.

i don't think that is up to us how they live there lives. Do you know how many more of Iraqi's people would have died anyway, and if we would just pull out of there I believe that not only less Americans would die, they would less pissed off . I realize the way of life is different over there and there are a lot of great things you soldiers are doing and have done. But this terrorist thing is out of control. We are already the ones who created terrorism. How do you think they learned how to kill? Where do you think they got their weapons? The wonderful US of A! I am not a supporter of Bush and I have never supported the war. Sorry, I have a cousin and he's over there and I don't find anything heroric about it. He is over there and he thrives on killing. That does not make me proud. I have also talked to a few soldiers saying that this war is BS and they hate Bush. I think that we need to pull out of there before we lose any more men and women and worry about our home turf. I also don't think that this war is even about what they tell us. They have lied to us American people and to you soldiers. If our leaders are so honest and know what they are doing with this war, why do Bush's main men keep on resigning in a middle of a war? A little fishy don't you think? I think I just might move to Canada. Sorry if I offended you but it's not about giving kids treats or putting smiles on there faces at all . that does not justify what is going on. They don't show that stuff in the media because that is not what this war is about. It is great that you guys did that and that does make me proud. But I think that everyone else who supports this war needs to get a clue and have you ever thought that maybe we are the terrorists over there killing their innocent people. What is so different about what they did to us and what we are over there doing to them? Also did you know that the Bush family have been buddy buddy with the Hussein Family and the Bin Ladens for many many years. Everyone else should maybe read, get educated, and maybe then they wouldn't want to go over there and fight for something that doesn't even exist.

Thanks for posting this, and God Bless our Troops. They are the ones who know what is REALLY happening in Iraq. All we get through the media, is approved 2nd, or 3rd hand information re-written by the Liberal Media.
I am sorry to let you know, that the Libs just don't care, Hun, and we can't make them care.
It is the same with the Libs concerning the 9/11 theories against the Bush Administration. I asked if they had seen a show on the History Channel, which with experts in every field, and proof, knocked down all their ridiculous ideas. Know what they did? Said the History Channel was part of the Conspiracy, and manipulating their viewers! They're blind! But only because they don't want to SEE! The truth is a block to their agendas.
But, as an American, and as a Conservative, and like our blessed soldiers in Iraq, and everywhere else they be, I will not give up the good fight, like you haven't.
God Bless America, Freedom, but most of all, our Soldier's who keep us FREE!

Bush is all approximately his 'legacy', do you fairly think of he could save something that makes him appear as if much less of a loony a secret? there is not any element in hiding WMDs from us... whats going to take place if all of us comprehend? no longer something. Thats a load of baloney and you comprehend it. even nevertheless Saddam grew to become right into a loser, he had a minimum of performed one element genuine- he grew to become into waiting to hold mutually an ethnically different u . s . a ., that could desire to extremely be at each-others throats. See show A: Iraq right this moment. do no longer forget approximately the different area- that terrorists regularly do no longer make for a solid government. in fact... Saddam Hussein does not have tolerated terrorist companies interior of his u . s . a .. The terrorists that are there now are an instantaneous results of the yankee invasion- and that they have certainly one of two motivations- the two they disagree with yet another ethnic team, or the disagree with the U.S. being right here. incredibly, pulling out of Iraq receives rid of one of those varieties of terrorists. the different form can then be centred on by skill of the Iraqi government, that could merely efficiently create a solid state without distant places skill with its own pastimes butting in.

You don't actually say who the soldier is but you quote him. I think that you got this quote off of some conservative blog and you like to stir the pot a bit. The Iraq war is what has created terrorists there. If you were a real patriot you would want that idiot out of the white house and get someone in there that will guide us out of the mess he threw us into.

Thanks for your service, God bless you. You are feeling the same rage and pain the returning Vietnam boys did and it's because of mindless weak pukes like the thumbs down morons here. Freedom is not free and it is shame-full how most Americans have no clue as to what is at stake. I know, I was in Vietnam and we won the land war, but lost the battle for the minds of free men. It will take another 9-11 to wake up the morons, but they will never get it; as for us we'll never sleep.

Though I don't support the war anymore, the biased media never reports on that stuff. I have friends that have served in Iraq and a lot of the soldiers are appalled at the media coverage of the war.

There are a lot of good things happening in Iraq that the media doesn't tell us about.

We are doing a lot of good in Iraq and my son, who is serving in Baghdad, is right in the middle of it all. Unfortunately, the new Iraqi leaders and their army are woefully inadequate and either incapable or unwilling to fend for themselves and want us to stay there forever. THAT is our biggest problem.

No matter we do in this war- people will die...if we leave or if we stay- that is a fact.

The problem that people have with this war is that is was mis-leading information that brought us into this war- and we all know that to be a fact.

This war cannot be won....it will go on and on forever..as long as we are in their country. And they will forever go on and on trying to launch terrorists acts against the US and our alliances...
