I'm 12 weeks and my lower abdomen feels full and tight all the time...I also get sharp pains here and there..did anyone else experience this that early?

I sure did. It is probably your ligament stretching out. Even though it seems early and you probably are not showing much - there are major changes going on inside your body. The ligaments can cause incredible pain/discomfort for some people, but bring it up with your doctor at your next appointment just to be sure. Congrats!

My wife didn't have any pains , maybe the tightness and some pulling pains ,but not sharp pains. You should have your doctor check it out because your first trimester is where you are at high risk for problems or miscarriage. Have it checked out better safe than sorry.

mention it 2 ur midwife it could mean u have a problem like spd(softening of the pelvis tissue) so as i says best get seen 2 before leaving it 2late

I did too... My doctor told me that it is just your body streaching and adjusting to the fact that you now have a little life growing inside you! Its completely normanl, don't let them scare you!!!

i dont know if i am but i have also been feeling them for about a week how long haveu had them?
