Unless he get's sick I wouldn't worry about it. Not all uncooked eggs will make you sick. Heck, I still see people DRINK them raw (even though you aren't supposed to) and haven't seen anyone get sick from it.

I'm sure he's fine.

He should be fine as long as he's relatively healthy anyway. IF the egg did have salmonella, there's nothing you can do about it now. It will either infect him and he'll get food poisoning, or he won't. There's no test they can perform or anything until it happens. If he does begin to have diarhea, vomiting, etc, make sure he drinks plenty of fluids and you should have him also take an electrolyte supplement like Pedialyte or a mixture of 1/2 gatorade/1/2 water. (If you give pure gatorade, the sugar content may upset his stomach more.)

Do you mean salmonella? I think he should be fine - about 30 years ago my brother used to steal wild bird eggs (evil sod) and blow them and store them and they are a lot more likely to be contaminated than lion standard British eggs which have the lowest salmonella risk in Europe. Unless he was drinking that quantity of raw egg I can't see a problem. You don't say how old he is?

Not to worry. Only very minuscule chance of getting sick. Especially since he didn't eat the egg. You would be wasting your time at the hospital and the doctor would think you were a worry wort. Relax, keep an eye on him for a little while, that's all.

Woh, calm down. Unless he's vomiting all over the place and has really bad diahrea, there's nothing to worry about.

The object that is infected has to be ingested before it can do any damage. The salmonela has to be in the stomach before it can bond with any of the cells and begin to grow and signs of the infection appear.

However, if he gets any of the above symptoms, take him to a hospital right away.

Wait for some signs/symptoms to appear. A sign is diarrhea and a temperature, a symptom would be a complaint of pain and cramping. Without these, he hasn't got salmonella. It would appear in 2-3 days if it was going to appear at all.

No. Many eggs do not even carry salmonella. Also, it isn't a short term crisis either. If he gets diarrhea or upset stomach, call a doctor. Most people recover without treatment.

I would wait and see if he gets sick. It's not 100% guaranteed that you will get salmonella from eating a raw egg. Don't believe me? Check out a mayonnaise recipe.

As long as the eggs had been refrigerated, before he got to them, there should be no problem from salmonella.
