hes not doing such a bad job.
Just like hoover, all the mistakes hayes did jumped back at him, and everyone said it was his fault.
Most everyone who "hates" bush only "hate" him because its the thing to do. Just because he has a texan accent and can't say some things doesnt mean hes a bad guy.

What do you all think.
And for the people who hate bush, tell me some reasons ^_^

It is Laura Bush's, not the American people's, responsibility to provide George W. Bush with emotional support. We ALREADY give him a paycheck.

You are correct about one thing. He couldn't articulate a complex idea to save his life.

I don't know anyone who hates Bush. People point out the many mistakes he has made and the fact that he won't own up to any of them. People know he lies and merely point that out. People know he is incompetent but pointing to that doesn't mean they hate the man. Pointing to the corruption he and his cronies are involved with certainly is not hateful but the truth. His arrogance also is quite obvious but pointing that out seems to be construed as hating Bush. If the truth hurts you than I feel sorry for you. A wise man once said "If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen". That wise man was Harry Truman who had a sign on his desk that read "The buck stops here". If Bush would allow the buck to even get near him people would rejoyce but he doesn't and that upsets people. They express this fact but not through hatred for the man. You say he is not doing such a bad job. Well 71 % of Americans seem to think he is. That puts you in a minority. Much of the world agrees. Does that mean they hate him? I don't think so. Really the only ones who actually might hate Bush are the jihadists and maybe Hugo Chavez.

No people don't hate him because it is the thing to do. Well maybe a couple but not most people. Take off the rose colored glasses, open your eyes, ears, and mind and you will see what others see. Being closed minded only causes you to hate and to think others hate you and your god Bush.

It's the thing to do? Really? So it's got nothing to do with his piss-poor leadership of the nation, the fact that he can't complete a sentence without making up a word? I've known lots of people from Texas, and they don't all speak gibberish- that isn't an accent. GWB grew up in Connecticut anyway.

Back in July of 2001, the Longshoreman's contract came up, and negiotians with management were fierce. While the State Deparment stepped in to mediate, President Bush sent the National Guard in to scab. This destroyed any credibility the federal government had with the Longshoreman, and led directly to the Dock Lockout that happened that December, costing retailers billions of dollars in what should have been the busiest season of the year.

He lied to us about Iraq. There was no credible evidence of any Nuclear weapons, and he said there was. There was no connection between Al Qaeda, and he said there was. There were no weapons of Mass Destruction, and he said there were. The only alternative to believing that he lied, is believing that he was stupid enough to be misinformed about a matter that important. So which is it Republicans? Is he stupid or dishonest?

In November of 2005, while everyone was worried about the Bird flu, he committed the Federal Government to purchase an 8 billion dollar stockpile of Tamiflu. To date, there has been no human to human transmission of the H5N1 virus (the scientific name of the birdflu), and according to WebMD that virus already has a resistance to Tamiflu. Why buy so much of a cure that doesn't work against a disease that doesn't exist? Because Donald Rumsfeld was the Chairman of the Board for Gilead Sciences, the company that developed Tamiflu. How could anyone love a President who wasted so much of the taxpayers money, for the sole purpose of making his friend's stockprices jump? That's shady business.

I see bush as a bad president because of his bad performance across all sectors. And they are:

Economic: Since his tax cuts in his early presidency, our country's public debt went from about 4.7 trillion to 9 trillion. (just short of doubling). Obviously, that is a cause for major concern, and the large tax cuts didn't really do a good job in spurring the Economy in a way it was supposed to.

Foreign: After Iraq, our reputation on the world stage has dropped dramatically. Even less countries like us, and even less listen to what we have to say.

Government: Bush is terrible at picking people to fill government positions. (Gonzalez, Libby, etc).
He's also done a terrible job with the public. After Iraq, people no longer trust the government, or it's leaders. People aren't sure if we really went after Terrorism (Iraq didn't harbor terrorists), went after WMD's (they had none, some say that the Pres. knew that they didn't have any) or if he invaded for oil.

He lied in order to get us bogged down in an unnecessary war, he has consistently undermined the constitution (that he has sworn to uphold -- thus violating the terms of his office) by issuing signing statements that stated his intention to ignore laws issued by Congress -- which he is bound by law to uphold, not overturn. He has authorized and conducted unlawful surveillance of American citizens. He has willfully oppressed scientists working for the government who have tried to tell the American people the truth. He did nothing but show up for a photo-op in New Orleans after the entire area was destroyed by Katrina.

He should be impeached, removed from office, and thrown into a dungeon for life. He is evil.

If you think people dislike Bush because it is the thing to do, you are a very informed person. Do some research on your own. You will find out there are many reasons. Valid reasons. Be open minded and search for the truth.

Yes, most of the people who hate Bush are on Welfare.
They are young, healthy, and have never worked a day in their lives.
They are jealous because Bush got us Working People Tax Cuts, and we are doing Great!!!!

That is the most retarded thing I've read. I think Bush has done the worst job a President could possibly do and I have a great job and get paid a lot to do it.

And what good are his tax cuts if he keeps spending?

I don't hate anybody....I've never met the man....I just think he's the worst President in US history.....and since it's important that the President be able to communicate clearly, present a strong, graceful, competent persona....and he doesn't....I have to be at least very disappointed in the way others see him as our main representative to the world.....and in my travels, they all seem to think he's a clumsy, moronic clown. He's an embarrassment! At the Univ. near me there's a clinic for accent reduction...there's one TX, too....especially for people with heavy southern accents, because, like it or not, people in other countries (and even some here) think it sounds either very hard to understand, or worse, think it sounds like "an uneducated hillbilly".....their words, not mine. It's largely business people who take advantage of it.
