How do you set up the Directv convertor to two TV? It is currently set up to a 52 inch in one room, but I want to set it up to my combo TV in my bedroom? I ran a coaxial cable from the convertor on the 52 inch to my bedroom but still can't get a signal. What can be wrong??? I bought a universal remote because I can't find the orginal remote, I was able to set up the TV to the remote but can't get the satillite to work.

You probably tapped into the cable coming from the dish. If you have a coax cable from the converter to the tv, that's the one you need to split. If one tv will take audio/video inputs, you can hook those to that tv and the coax to the other tv.
If you want to watch different channels on each tv, you'll need a second converter that will cost you extra each month.

You cant split a satellite signal before the receiver you have to run the cable from the receiver to the second tv. So where it says out to tv from the receiver there should be a cable going into a two way splitter one for the big tv and one for the second tv.
Theres another way to do that with diplexers that uses less cable. but thats confusing unless your a installer.

Whenever you split the cable or install longer cabling the electrical signal becomes weaker and you must put an inline amplifier to strengthen the signal. I would just go get one at radio shack.
