The are just normal people like you and me! They appear happy because we meet/deal with them when we are sad

Because they are people. Some are Republican, some Democrat, and some Independent. Maybe more are Republican because to be a funeral director you need to be compassionate and Republicans are compassionate.

Well,look at the checks you write them. Look at the fees they collect. You'd be happy too if you were rolling in dough,especially when all the work is done by hirelings who haven't got enough money for their own parlor yet. It's like free money in a way.

Because people are always gonna die and make them lots of money....it's not a business that depends on the market, season etc. Wouldn't you smile?

They have job security for one thing. A constant supply of bodies, and they make a lot of money. I do mean a LOT.

its just a business to them...they make alot of money so the more jobs coming thru the bigger the smile.

They help people when they are at their lowest. You get a sense of accomplishment when you know you've been able to help another person.
