I know how to use a tampon...but it hurts when I do, it tends to hurt my butt for some reason...and it never feels like its fully in....does anyone know why this is?

I used to use tampax tampons and that happened but I switched to playtex and theyre shorter and it stopped also try O.B. tampons maybe you just need to find a different brand plus you might want to try standing with your foot up on the toilet while inserting it that's the only way I can get it in right.

Try use small tampon. That might help you to insert your body. Make sure, you need empty out before insert the tampon. Make sure if you put in right place without force it.

You need to get the tampon in fully so you have to relax. Sometimes when you are beginning you need a bit of lube to get it in far enough. Make sure you are using the right size for yourself.

i never had a problem until after my second child. it hurt and was frustrating. i switched to the plastic applicator sand still my problem was dryness. i used ky and then i realized just a wipe with a cottonell wipe worked perfectly. easier to carry around at work, too.
if you can feel it after it's in, you didn't put it far enough. try again. you will get it and you will be very comfortable.

Maybe you have to go to the bathroom to empty out. When you insert a tampon, you should relax and don't force it in.

You should probably switch to pads, or a smaller tampon - the one's without an applicator, it's not worth that much discomfort

ive only used a tampon a couple of times and thats happened to me too. i think that the vagina is too close or osmething. im sure nothings wrong

If it hurts, it ISN'T in completely. Take it out and try again. Keep trying. You'll get eventually.
