I've heard it but their ancestors were brought here against their will so it is what it is. I don't believe e in reparations either but feel we need to ensure their rights.

When you say "go back to africa", you imply that they have ever actually been in africa.
Also, "african americans" is just a stupid term. Not all black people are 'african'. Some are cuban or haitian or whatever.
Who are you talking about exactly when you say "they" need to stop complaining? Not all 'black' or 'african american' people I hope, because that would simply be racist.
I'm not racist. Everyone should have equal rights regardless of their freakin skin color or sexual orientation or gender or religion or whatever. Equal rights. Period.
However...Yes I do know what you're talking about. There are SOME people who feel entitled to things simply because their ancestors were wronged. A lot of people of all races have entitlement issues. Especially white people but I digress.
But the whole 'go back to africa' thing is something racists say. Regardless of how stupid a black person acts, that doesn't make it ok for a white person to act stupid in response. So a black person says something you don't like , you say "go back to africa" ? That's just stupid.
Get over it, pigmentation is nothing. Skin color is nothing. There are jerks who are white, and jerks who are black.
Yes I wish people would stop whining about crap that has nothing to do with them. Yes I wish people would put the past in the past and try to IMPROVE things today.
But at the end of the day, Whites did wrong blacks. You can't ignore it, you can't erase it, it happened. But we all need to get over it and do the right thing now, which is ignore differences and focus on how we are alike.

I was watching bring it on two, or three. You know the cheerleader movie? Anyways, this white girl had to move to LA from Beverly Hills and the school she went to was mostly black. The black girls in the movie kept calling the new girl 'white girl'. To her face, eachother, and other people. The term 'black girl' was not once used.
I think its so wierd how you can call me a 'white girl' and I wont take it wrong but if I called someone 'black girl' the whole planet would blow up. Im not racest, its just so lame how society works.
I am a white girl, or actually a mutt. Im so mixed up with anglo saxon european ancestry I dont think I could ever claim one country as home.
By the way its not just some black people who dont have jobs, white people and brown people too. These people are all just classified as lazy.

I've heard this from idiots I don't know and racists.
These are not African people, do you realize this? These are Americans who are decendants of the people we imprisoned, took, stole from Africa like they were property. We destroyed families, communities and whole societies in the name of cheap labor. Sound familiar?
Should I ask you go to back to Europe if you don't like all the "African Americans"?

Affirmative action has done more to accentuate what colour someone is, rather than to get the best person for a job. It is not a good thing.
What's wrong with hiring someone for being a person, a good candidate for the job, rather than a colour?

Do you mean ALL of them? When have you heard me complain, trouble maker? And so what if we complain? I hear you griping and wailing and sobbing over Christians everyday! Do I tell you to leave this country which was heavily founded on Judeo-Christian values and go back to Europe or to a Middle Eastern nation where you will never have to worry about Christians again?
I always thought you were sadly misguided because of your warped views on religion, but now I see you are just ignorant.

I'm white and I've heard this and it annoys me to no end, it's usually some backwoods redneck spouting ignorant bs that I ignore. Blacks are Americans, why do we have to label them "black Americans"? I also have Italian friends, do I wish that they all go back to Italy? I am surprised at you, Trouble Maker, we are not on the same page with this at all.

Since you're using descendancy as a justification for telling others to "go back where they came from," would that not also apply to all humans? After all, the earliest known homo sapiens originated from the African continent.

I am American Indian and often I wish you ALL would kindly go back from the lands which you came from. Thats honest, and I know it won't happen so I try not to judge anyone by their ethnic background. We're all for better or for worse human beings, 2 legged creatures and need to learn to get along. AFter all we are one species and prejudice is evil

Hmmmm. Well, I'm part Indian and part white - so should I stay or should I go?
Yes, I've heard this argument but don't think it has much validity.
