its sad how brainwashed people are, for example the line about Iraq being a "complete and total failure", doctors in Iraq were making $20 a week before we went in now they are making in the hundreds, more towns and villages have water and electricity than before, the people had elections for the first time in over 20 years, Libya turned over there wmd programs, Saudi Arabia is allowing women to vote, Palestinian citizens were actually in the streets protesting against hamas suicide attacks

did you know any of this? fox news reported it didn't CNN? no of course not then they couldn't lie and call Iraq a complete and total failure

Fox news is accurately maligned with the epithet "Faux News," because that's what they deliver. They are the preferred source of rhetoric for the extreme right in America. Most people who watch Fox watch only Fox, and so they are getting only one, very biased version of select stories. If you want anything close to "fair and balanced" news, you will have to listen to ALL available sides, such as Democracy Now, CNN, NPR, CBS, Free Speech Radio, etc. But like Phaedra said, people don't really want the truth, they only want their position given some semblance of credibility.

False flag phonies. Fox News broadcasts more fake news in one day than The Daily Show does in one year.

Also, Fox News fought a civil lawsuit filed by former employees by claiming in court that they have the right to broadcast lies and fabrications.

Fox News is overproduced entertainment. Graphics flying everywhere and dramatic music. Come on. You can't take it seriously. Some of the regular shows on there are very Jerry Springer-esque. Old fashion muckraking with modern technology. All the cable news stations are guilty of this to a degree, but Fox is over the top. I suppose it's alright if you like it (it's not my cup of tea), but at least admit that it's purely entertainment and not news.

As with all news from a commercial channel, you have to accept that it's filtered to boost ratings. They are going to focus on the stories and the points of view that are most likely to keep their core audience tuned in. Fox news skews to the right so you have to expect that most anything they report is likely to be slanted to a Republican point of view or mentality. Now that doesn't mean they are giving false information, it just means they are focusing on the details that promote a certain side of the story.

I prefer an unbiased truthful balanced reporting of news so I only watch Fox News. A lot of other people must think so too since they dominate the ratings while MSNBC, CNN and the network news all continue to loose viewers.

Little piece of advice, DO NOT get your news from what you read on the internet, especially kook sites like that.

Any time a news source feels they need to tell me how fair and balanced they are... Well that tells me all I need to know. Do your self a favor and put that station on parental lock out. The whole lot of em for that matter. Nobody cares about the truth in this country anymore we only care about the version of the truth that supports our position on the issue at hand.

Fox "News" -is information for the emotionally disturbed. IMPACT is more important than facts or balance in its broadcasts; and their Opinions are more honest- than the "truths" they maintain they're about. In short, Fox is a newsman's version of "info-tainment". Big on "noise", short on substance. :)

This is the network that twice misidentified former congressman Mark Foley as a Democrat.

Their actions speak for themselves.

I prefer Fox news, especially as a veteran, it is more balanced and makes sense.
