If you just baught the truck , it could be frome where they cleaned the carpet. The heatercore would leave an anti-freeze smell in the cab and a film on the windows. Check the coolant level to be sure though. The most likely cause is the drain tube for the a/c is clogged fron leaves and stuff. With the a/c on, make sure water is dripping from under the pass. side of firewall. If it is not, remove the blower motor(under the glove box) by removing the 5, 7mm screws and the connector and tube. This will gain you access to the evap area where the leaves will be and to what has clogged the tube. Clean all the gunk out and that should cure it. Good luck to ya...

I'll give you some of the most common sources of water that gets inside the vehicle:

1. Someone left the window(s) down and a big old storm came along and soaked it. You can either air out the car on hot days by leaving the windows down or rent a carpet shapooer with the upholstery attachment and suck the water out of the carpets.

2. There is a hole in the firewall and the water leaks in when driving through the rain or while it's parked in the rain.

3. Similarly, if there is another hole in the roof or where the windshield meets the body by the wipers. The seal around the windshield wil sometimes droop where it crosses over the heater core on the passenger side. You can check the seal all the way around with a flashlight or visual inspection.

4. The little drain pan under the heater core or A/C condensor coil is overflowing due to the drain tube being plugged up with lint or dead bugs. You can poke a wire or slender stick or pipe cleaner through the tube to move or remove the blockage. You might have to get under the car to do this. The tube is supposed to drain through from the inside of the firewall to the outside of the firewall.

5. You might have a leaking heater core. You will know this if the coolant keeps going down and the carpets will smell like antifreeze. Just keep an eye on the coolant level and smells inside the cabin. When it gets really bad the smell and hot steam will come through the air vents and will fog up the windshield. This is an expensive repair because of the labor involved.

Good Luck!

I would say either a busted hose or a bad heater coil-er.
