about what the chances of me becomin pregnant were..
since i had unprotected sex ON the day i ovulated and had lots of egg white cm that day too. obviously it was a bad mistake.. =(

since my period is due tomorrow by the latest.. i tested yesterday at 9pm.. the good news is.. i got a BIG FAT NEGATIVE... but i heard you can still misss your period? yesterday would of been 12 days since i had sex

this morning i even felt as if my period was about to start..

but dont u think if i was pregnant it would show on the test by now? it was the "test 4 days early ones"
PLZ TELL ME WHAT U THINK.. i have one more test which i will use this weekend

are my chances of being pregnant still high?

Are your chances "high?" Who knows. But you are not "safe" now, no.

Pregnancy tests work by detecting human chorionic gonadotrophin (hcg), which your body manufactures *once implantation has occurred.* Implantation, typically, occurs somewhere between 6 and 10 days after conception. Moreover, the levels of hcg start at zero (obviously) and would be too low to detect initially.

The "early results" tests are fantastic, don't get me wrong -- I've used them and loved them. But if you get a positive result early you can rest assured that you're making hcg and are pregnant, whereas a negative result means only that you're either not pregnant....or, it's too early to know for sure. It all depends on when implantation occurs. So: you may be not pregnant. Or, it may have been too early to get an accurate result.

Which means, you'll have to wait and see. If you don't get your period, test again in a few days.

Best of luck.

The negative test is a good sign, although often it doesn't show this early. You will not miss your period if you are not pregnant. If you do miss your period, things will be suspicious. Wait a few days and if you miss your period go take a blood test for more accurate results. In fact, even if you do get your period go have a blood test after it. I am right now going throuh a rough phase with an ectopic prgnancy, that started but then I had a normal period, so I didn't realise it early enough.

PS. Egg whites have nothing to do with it by the way.

i didn't get a positive result till my period was over a week late, it takes longer for the hcg hormone to show up in some woman's urine than others, if you do not get your period in 4-5 days buy another test.

use protection from now on..and this can easily be avoided

There is always a chance. You can get free or cheap birth control in many places. Don't wait until you have to have an abortion - practice safer sex, or stop having sex until you can be more mature regarding your contraception methods. This anxiety doesn't feel so good, does it? It's not worth it.
