First and foremost, we had best not be pulling anyone out until this deal is wrapped up. We are in a global war for our very survival and we cannot afford to lose a single battle.
The leftists will create another Big Lie to scare their useful idiots to follow their lead. I am amazed that such a small percentage of that party gets to call all the shots. If I were a Democrat I think I would tell them, toss the leftists or get no more money from me.

They will concentrate on the best way to repair our foreign policies, all destroyed by Bush! They will campaign on how the Republicans created a trillion dollar debit to the budget of American People!
They will, hopefully come up with solutions for these problems!
And from what I have seen of the candidates from the GOP? We have nothing to worry about!

For the Democrats, there is nothing beyond the next election. There is no consideration of the long-term strategic interests, for the survival, as you will, of the country as a whole. So long as they gain and/or stay in power, any tactic, no matter how short-sighted, is worthwhile.
That said, they'll probably govern based on economic and social reform until they utterly wreck the country's institutions and are promptly voted out and put into an institution of their own.

They don't even have to campaign. The mess of the last 7 years has done in the Republicans.

Libs never run out of stuff to complain about conservatives. 95% of it is made up B/S anyway, so they still have Global Warming, price of gas, protect the gators, a virtually never ending list

Oh surely they'll continue to find groups to pander to. Maybe a few 'debates' sponsored by moveon.org, supporters of the ACLU, The Socialist Party of America, etc. etc.....
They'll always find a niche. :)
