I had an ultrasound a week ago and they said I was 19 wks and 6 days. Previous to that the doc told me I was a little over 20 wks. Now I know the ultrasound is supposed to tell you the exact age but I'm confused. As of today I'm 20 wks and 5 days... I husband and I tried to get pregnant April 11th and we only tried that one time. So if I got pregnant around that time should I not be about 4 mths and about 2 wks?? According to the ultrasound I'm now 5 mths. I'm confused...does this sound righ??

Through experience, if you have an irregular cycle it can knock your dates out. I had a 35 day cycle and my first date i was given was 19th August which was 9months and 1 week since my last period. But when I went and got a scan at 30 weeks they told me my due date was 4th Sept. due to my irregular cycle. I was totally confused. My baby came on the 5th September. So I suppose It did make sense.

20 weeks IS 4 months 2 weeks. a month has more than 4 weeks in it!
