Romance, action, and comedy?
Inu-Yasha fits that bill.
Full Metal Panic does as well (though most of the comedy is in the FUMOFFU season, and a lot of the romance is toward the end of the series).
Sailor Moon is kind of old-school, but has all three as well.
Great Teacher Onizuka has a lot of action and comedy, and a little bit of romance. Love Hina has some action, lots of comedy and a fair amount of Romance.

Kara no Kyoukai is the perfect anime while it contains action (the action is purely f***ing incredible) and supernatural with a drop of romance yet Kara no Kyoukai 5: Mujun Rasen action picture is the perfect one out of each and all of the kara movies. yet heavily look it up and examine the comments. there is not any comedy yet you will no longer experience sorry approximately watching this in any respect.

Gakuen Alice- Girl goes to school for kids that have "alices" which are just special powers because she wants to be with her Best friend, has romance, action, and comedy!
Kamichama Karin- new, being subbed now girl gets goddess powers from her ring alot of romance, action adventure and comedy.
DNAngel- Boy finds out that he turns into a ledgendary theif Dark, has romance, action, adventure and comedy.
Nanatsuiro Drops- VERY CUTE girl has to collect star drops so her new stuffed animal friend who is really her crush can get his body back but she doesnt know its him very romantic, small amounts of adventure and its pretty funny!
Karin- Vampire girl who actually makes blood instead of sucking it. Romance Comedy and some action
Ouran High School Host Club- Girl breaks vase and has to crossdress and work at host club o make money Comedy, romance, adn some action
Kanon- (2006 re-make) Boy comes back to town he used to live in and he lost his memory has action ( With Mai, they have to fight demons in school, not alot of action though) sad and romantic!
Tonagura! just finished it and i liked it! kind of ecchi though, boy moves back to old town, and his old neighbor who was in love with him cant wait to see him, but he is a pervert! i guess not alot of acton though.
Lovely Complex- currently watching so far it i ssoo good! tall girl falls for a short guy( at first i thought that seemed boring, but it is really funny!) romance, not alot of action though.

NANA (Shoujo Slice of life Romance Music Drama)

Together, they find out their past including Haru and Musica who both do not know their parents very well. They also find out the connection between Ethelion and Rave
