I have no idea what you're talking about, but the time is right to normalize relations with Cuba.

Fidel's days are numbered and let's face it, he's the only reason we broke relations with Cuba in the first place. But he's not long for this world. The best way to fight communism is with capitalism, just as we're doing in communist China. Besides, what else are we going to do? Isolate them forever? That just doesn't make much sense. We've punished Cuba enough for Fidel's transgressions. Once he's dead, let's normalize relations, start doing business, help build the economy and head on back down to the beaches!

Communism has been shown to be a failure the world over, let's start mending fences.

The U.S. should be ashamed of the way it has treated Cuba.
The embargo has hurt the Cuban people, who since the resolving of the and dismantling of the missiles have presented absolutely no threat to the U.S. at all.

Normalize the relations with Cuba, and lets get on with being neighbours.

why is U.S.A interested in CUBA it is very simple, they want to assasinate Fidel Castro, and don't think they didn't try b4 and they want to make more of those guantanamos that all, they want to keep the secret away from america. i am not cuban but i believe castro is a good person and the same goes with Hugo Chavez, remember its the ppl that defend him and not some body gaurd who gets paid. oh yea after fidel they are gonna try to fix a new leader into cuba with "American Asistance"

pce im out

Proximity, mostly. Cuba was a concern durring the missle crisis because it was close enough to act as forward ballistic missle base for the USSR, for instance.

We also miss the cigars and mojitos.

I think it use to be a haven for rich americans and castro came along and confiscated all the land, distributed it amoungst the poor, educated everyone, and then cracked the skulls of all who opposed him.

Its mostly they dislike all those poor people on their land.
