Take Chavez for the best example.

He wants to be the president forever and he shut down the media that is against him. Typical Left.

I don't hate it. I just treat it like bad entertainment infused with pro-neocon propaganda/agenda. Fake news. A contributing factor to the brainwashing and dumbing down of America.

Sorry cons. I am a liberal and I hate FAUX NEWS, but I couldn't care less if it's on or not. I don't even turn it to that channel. People should be able to make up their own minds when it comes to what they want to watch or listen to. Therefore any of you cons that like to stereotype all liberals as being the same or as far left and crazy as Chavez can button your lips.

You right they can change the channel so why dont we get rid of the damn FCC isnt that against our freedom of speech. And yes the FCC should be abolished but no one complains about them execpt people that can view their opions without being fined. Man I love Howard Stern true American! I hate propaganda as much as the next guy but its the people who believe the stuff that its also their fault.

I support free speech. its just unethical for a news station to be bias or to distort facts (ex: fox has labeled GOP candidate who were arrested as 'DEM' multible times).

I don't watch it unless its on while I'm in the room with someone else who has it on

That is what I would do. If I actually watched much tv.
But people like you call it "hate" when people debunk your use of FOX news commentary as a credible source.

The only thing I watch on TV is japanimation. I figure if its going to be fake anyway, it might as well be entertaining.

The Big question is, why do you continue to defend a station that is owned by a person supporting Hillary?

Because Fox news doesn't support their views.

Just like how conservatives don't really watch ABC, CBS, or NBC.

I wish there was a news channel that reported the facts without distorting the news to satisfy their own political agenda.

Selectively filtering news is, of course, always an option. But, liberals, I think, more than conservatives, believe in the power of the media to shape opinion, and are concerned any time they're not shaping the correct opinions...

Because anyone who does not agree with them is someone to but quieted.

They are too close minded to listen to opinions that do not mesh with their own.

They are to small minded to be able to accept that their dogma might not be correct.

They have too little mental capacity to listed to opinions that do not match their vision of thier world. If things are not as they want them to be then those things are simply wrong, lies, deceptions, corruption, greed, etc...

Here are a few reasons. Some libs fit into amany of them.

I saw no indication that the asker supported limiting free speech in the question.

Why are meo-cons so adverse to the truth (everything opposite to what they think)?
And why are they deaf to what the rest of the country has to say on topics, that contradicts everything the Republicans say?
