Of the South Asian teams, Sri Lanka has by far the best chance to reach the 20/20 final, and perhaps even win it. They proved the were the best South Asian team by making the WC final, and have a very strong lineup. Jayasuriya is perfect for 20/20, and Sangakkara and Jayawardene are at the top of their games at the moment. Bowling wise, there is the control of Vaas, the impact of Malinga and the guile of Murali. And they do well in South African conditions - they did make the semi-final of the 2003 WC. India and Pakistan are too inconsistent, and Bangladesh are still finding their feet. All teams have the potential to do well, but the answer to your question has to be Sri Lanka.
