I remember when my dad bought this '69 T-Bird w/ suicide doors. Dark blue w/ a white top & White leather upholsterly. It shined. Well not so much anymore and I want to surprise my dad by getting it fixed up, but I don't even know where to start. It will need everything. Any suggestions or ideas of where to start.

There are parts books and parts suppliers out there. Plus there are books out on restoration of cars. Either that or just take the car into a restorer and let him restore it for you. It may cost more, but he'll likely do a better job, and faster.

good luck.

Do you live anywhere near southern California?

If so, why don't you try sending some pictures of it to the producers of the Overhaulin' show.

These folks are reliable, but expensive. At least if they give you a quote you will have something to compare.
