Is it possible to connect a ps2 to a pc monitor?

You want a VGA box. These can be used as a stand alone console switch or in line with a PC. Once hooked up, you never have to remove or change cables again, just press a button to switch between the game consoles or even a PC.

Lots of things are possible... if you pay enough money. In this case, there are adapters that allow PS1/2/3 to connect to a VGA monitor. However, please note that their resolution won't magically improve. They're still generating a NTSC signal, after all.
