Do any anime DVDs have "SUB" and "DUB" as different audio tracks? I'd like to watch both ways, but don't want to have to get 2 versions.

Also, can someone recommend an adult oriented anime? (not pornographic but something not geared for kids or teens) I like a lot of fighting, martial arts, blood and guts (some nudity is o.k., I'm not a perv, but I'm not a prude) and a really good story.

Thanks.

Yes, most anime DVDs released in the USA have both English and Japanese soundtrack, and optional English subtitles. You can watch subtitled (Japanese soundtrack + subtitles on), or dubbed (English soundtrack + subtitles off), or various other combinations.

Most DVD sellers (I'm somewhat partial to DVD Pacific) will tell you which language soundtracks are on the DVD before you buy.

There are a few exceptions. The ones I'm aware of are either so heavily edited in the dub (Cardcaptor Sakura / Cardcaptors) that a single video wouldn't work with the two soundtracks, or else aimed at little kids (Pokemon) who it is assumed would never use the Japanese soundtrack.

As for non-kid-oriented material, and a lot of fighting, you might consider Tenjou Tenge or Ikki Tousen (martial-arts high school series), though they don't have too much blood. They have more action than a lot of the standard "fighting" anime (Dragonball comes to mind), which involve too much grunting and posing for my tastes.

Ninja Scroll has a boatload of gore if that's what you are after, but it is only one movie.

I haven't seen Elfen Lied myself, but it is highly regarded and pretty gory from what I've read.

Cartoon Network just started showing Blood+ in their late-night "Adult Swim" lineup, and it seems to have no shortage of violence and blood.
