Heck no! You can safely wear a tampon for up to 8 hours (probably longer....but I wouldn't recommend it).

Besides, using tampons while sleeping helps you to avoid the nocturnal leakage issues associated with pads.

No. You can sleep with a tampon in as long as you don't sleep longer than 8 hours. If you are going to be sleeping longer, you can always change it in the middle of the night.

(In answer to a previous poster: It won't get lost. There is nowhere for it it to go)

i wouldnt reccomend wearing a tampon for more than 7 hours, after 8 hours you can get yeast infection and other things, the bacteria grows faster on blood than most things, the bacterica could give you a infection, you can, but i dont reccomend it.

yes because u can end up sleeping more then 4-6 hours and if it stays in to long then u could get TSS ( toxic shock syndrome) and u could die or never b able to use tamons again.
