Could be a belt, but I would also check all pulleys when you have the belt off by spinning by hand, they should all spin freely, and also check the A/C clutch, it may be slipping.

Most likely your belts need to be tightened or replaced. Rub some candle wax on the inside of the belts, start it up, if the noise is gone, then adjust the belts. It also could be a bad bearing in the alt. gen. water pump etc, or it could be the neighbors cat sleeping one off.

Most likely a belt slipping, but the question is why is it slipping? Is there another device that is starting to fail, like the PS pump, water pump, alternator.

The repair shouldn't be that much to fix. So take it in to the shop and have them take a look.

I cant say for sure, but that actually sounds like your serpentine belt tensioner. It will eventually get worse, but I had a car that did that forever....good luck!

Not a belt - a power steering pump would do that.
