This is fascinating, but pretty far out. I am a retired Mechanical Engineer, and this is the first I have heard of it. I can see a number of reasons why this is unlikely to lead to a successful motor vehicle for the masses, but I would never say never. Don't bet the family jewels on it!

I don't care!
Reason 1 - This appears to be a private company, i.e. no investment opportunity
Reason 2 - History is littered with companies that had great ideas but didn't know how to make a profit from them.
