I want to be an actor?

Question

Ok so I am 15, and I really.. REally want to become an actor. By actor I dont mean a superstar like brad pitt, goerge clooney etc.

The thing is I can hardly fine any decent information on the web about acting. I mean I dont even know what i need how to become a good like like what do i need i know i need good memorization skills, and good english but what else is there any good websites out there?

If you want to be an actor you have to act. Websites won't do you much good. Get into a class. Get into some plays. That's the only way you'll learn what you need to know.

you need to be able to ACT. Look at some movies with Don Cheadle. I think hes one of the best actors around. What I mean is he can play different roles very well. I feel the same about Jack Nicholson and Denzel. The trick is to be able to get into any character.

If you want to know bad acting, check out many of the rappers who go into acting. All they can play is a thug sriminal because thats what they tend to be. Ice Cube doesn't count because his acting sukks.

Try going to a college that offers performing arts. If you near NYC or LA go to some casting calls for simple walk-on rolls to begin. Or try some commercials. But it helps if you get some professional head shots so you appear professional. Its not an easy road, but if you're determined and actually have talent then you should make it.

I'm trying that too and you know I can't think of any good one's that you could find you say that you are 15 is that right I'm only 21 and it took me a long time to figure out what I want to do with my life, it looks like you have gotten your head on your shoulders and you know what you already want to do you keep up the good work and I hope that everything goes well for you..

Big R has it right! Also get some books about acting and read, read all the plays you can find, get a mentor.
