I think its great. We need to make this regular and common! One step at a time...one step at a time.

I agree wholeheartedly! This so called church should lose all priviledges and since they aren't obeying the separation between church and state, they should be taxed accordingly. I really want to see this loud mouthed woman deported and to take her child with her. I don't think that any church should be allowed to harbor fugitives. I'll never understand why these people think that they are above the law, I'd never go into anyone's home and demand they feed me,etc. which is what these illegals have actually done. apparently, they were not reared with any morals, values or sense of respect for anything but what they want. Another detriment to our polite society.

I am of the view that churches should not do anything that would appear to break the law or assist in the breacking of the law. The only time when there is a need to not follow the law is when the law is against the things of God. There are guiding prionciples in the bible on this. Remember the question put to Jesus about payment of tax. There we are told to give back to the government what belong to them. Further we are also told that rulers and governments and authorities are there because they are set up by God too for the good of those whom they have charge of. Remember that when Jesus was put on trial, though it was much of a trial and those who judged over him were prejudiced (and if that trial was to tkae place now - it would have been unthinkable) yet Christ submitted to it. Again when it came to slavery (and it was lawful at the time of the new testament) the apostle Paul clearly taught that those who were converted while being slaves ought to remain in that calling with obedience. He did not ask of them to take up their arms and ran. So you see that while on the face of it, refugees etc sometimes demand our much sympathy, we cannot as christians allow our feelings to breach or assist in breaching the law. There is no question of racism etc. People from time to time raise this to fudge the real issue. Here you said that there is there illegal immigrant. Based on the principles taught in the Biible, the church should not assist in keeping him. But then it is regretable that nowadays people claiming to be of that religious calling tend to ignore the teachings set out in the word of God but let their emotions, feelings of wanting to do "good works" lead the way. The role of churches is to look after the souls of the followers and to preach the kingdom of God and not to be overwhelm by the things of the physical world which is only a passing phase. A clear discernment is required here.

I think the women is seriously disturbed. I would want my son with me regardless of circumstances. She is delusional if she thinks that she is going to change the course of immigration here in the states just because she was deported.
If people want to live here in the states then do so legally.
Stop using your kids to get a free ticket.
People like Elvira are what broke the system in the first place. They come here to get what they can and suck the life out of every program, school, hospital, and workforce. If she truely wanted to be a US citizen she would take her son back with her to mexico, apply for citizenship the legal way. Then move to the states and follow the laws like every other person should.
I would like to know why illegal immigrants think they have the rights that us citizens have? They are criminals.

She should be deported!
She should be sent to a Mexican jail, she broke the law!
Her son shouldn't be a US citizen either!
He should be Mexican and a citizen of that country, not ours!
I do think the laws are for legal immigration are ridiculous.
But that doesn't give anyone any excuse to break the law.
"We" the US citizens get to decide what "our" laws should be, not the Mexicans!
Further when caught for a third time, they should be considered career criminals, and get life!
If the Mexicans wish "our" laws changed, they should do what is required to enter legally, and then work to change the laws within the system.
"We" have to do it that way, the Mexicans shouldn't be allowed to do it however it suits them.
The law is the law and it "must" be followed, or changed properly.
Being criminals doesn't promote the cause of the Mexicans, it hurts their cause.
No matter how many Mexicans wish "our" laws to be different because they are inconveinant to them, is irrelivent!
The law is still the law, abusing the system will never further their cause, only undermine their situation.
Until the laws are changed from within the system, this will never change.

I think it was about time, and especially in her case since she was not only a criminal she was a repeat offender. This is the second time she has been deported, not to mention the fact that she was working using a stolen social security number as identification, which means she was also guilty of identity theft,as at least 30% or more illegal aliens are. This is adding insult to injury as identity theft damages peoples lives every day,but we are just supposed to ignore that damage when the identity thief is an illegal I guess. And her hiding in the Church puts her in violation of a deportation order for over a year,a felony in and of itself,so I see at least three felonies she has committed and yet some still want us to treat her as a victim, disgusting!! I say good riddance to bad rubbish is what I say!!

She's pretty naive if she thought that an actual illegal immigrant would be able to organize a "fight for legalization" and have it pay off.
What is interesting to me is that they don't realize that every trial they face when being here, such as stowing themselves away in a church miserably, is their own problem and fault. They act like America is the one to blame for it for somehow persecuting them even though they were the ones who decided to illegally come and do this to themselves. Hopefully she realizes it now that she's been deported.

1.) She is Illegal I'm glad they enforced the law.
2.) Enforcement should be applied to all illegal immigrants
3.) Any Church or representative of the Church that participates in politics or helping someone break the law should have their tax exemption revoked. The individual who helped someone break the law should be prosecuted.

She walked outside of the church and must have thought she'd won. I'm not sure who advised her but she made a bad choice leaving the church. Now, if they'd grab the other 12 million + illegal aliens in the country we'd be in better shape.

Illegal immigrants by definition are illegal.
There are scores of immigrants that have applied to enter the US through proper channels.
If people want to immigrate from one country to another, it should be done legally.
I have no sympathy for people who cut in line, they should be taken out of line and sent back in line with the proper paperwork.
If the line is to long, then they can contact their country's representative and see if things can move along quicker.
However, since there are legal people waiting in legal line to get in, I have 0.00000% patience for people who cut in line and/or break the law to skip the line to get into the country.

In a hurry to hurry to deport?? She was here a year illegally. She should be deported because she flaunted the law for a year! What kind of role model is that for her son?
