Back around WW1 something similar was transpiring. An International Workers Union or maybe it was the Industrial Workers of the World (something like that) was going to strike against US involvement and tie up the docks. It was a socialist organization but the average Joe had to organize against the Robber Baron industrialists. They capitulated to certain demands, for example the longshoremen, pipe fitters, mechanics, ect. and then held out against the others. Workers Unions became more trade oriented in the US and are that way today.
The best strike would not be a work stoppage strike, but a consumer spending strike. Just one day buy nothing.

Nope! The only way they will listen to the working class, would be is they had to live on what we do!
But I don't see that happening any time soon, so we will get screwed regularly by most politicians!Unfortunately, the rich have more to say about how the government works, than the middle class, or the non existent lower class! And we are the ones who need the most attention!
this is not equality in my book!

Us Brits tried that in 1926 - the rich are still getting richer and the politicians stopped listening to the working class long ago. Nice idea though. Maybe it's time to try it again.
