i and others have been exposed to Popper's critical
method.Should we apologise?
Much more importantly, nearly all of us have been (so-called)
educated in the Darwin-ist tradition(Eg,we want political
leaders and presumably teachers who are "perfect";that is,
we want them TO BE BETTER THAN US.
Whilst some of us think that that view is psychotic,to say the
least,do you think, say that we should at least require ALL
polititions,to formally apologise, for the mistakes that they
will definally make,in their(so called)careers-that is,when they
get into power-and use it,as we have given them permission
to do so(!).
ps the situation is similar with similar seriousness in the realm
of current education.

i disagree. on everything you just said. because, our teachers are not better than us, they merely pass on the knowledge they have. they are not perfect. nor do i think all polititions should "formally apologise". because, with the system we have in the united states, we the people elected them. put our faith and our trust into them to make this country the way it is. what they chooses to do with that power is up to them. wether we like it or not. you can argue, well not everyone voted for the same person...no they didnt. but each side picked a representative to lead. the best representative they could give, the person they thought would do the best job. so therefor, it is up to us, ultimately.

and also, about your basic question, no i dont think we chould apologise for that either. it would seem stupid to apologise for knowledge, because we were the one's to know, not them. the way we got it doesnt matter.
