Go to Vegas.com or Visitlasvegas.com. They will give you a pretty good overview of all the hotels on and off the strip.

www.vegas.com is a really good site. Their descriptions of the hotels are a bit sketchy but not bad. also try www.frommers.com - they're the people who put out the travel guides.
