I guess I have to say yes. Sometimes (ever since I realized what death was when I was about 10) I think about it at night and it really upsets me. Knowing that one day there will be no more me, no more walks on the beach, no more falling in love, etc. It's so depressing. I actually was trying to sleep right now and it popped into my head. I know that it's natural, but I have never been deeply religeous, though I want to believe...maybe I should go back to church. That seems to help a lot of people feel better about death.

I don't think anyone is really afraid of death, it is more like just the unknown, I have talked to several people who have died and were brought back and from what I have heard there is nothing to be afraid of, my aunt was one of those people, she never said what she saw just that she was no longer afraid of death, she has since past on.

No. I prefer living as oppossed to dying, but when I do pass away, I'll know that there was nothing I could have done to prevent the tragedy. Death is a part of life; it hurts the people who lose someone, but we accept it nonetheless. The only thing I fear is how much worse this country will become.

To be afraid of death is to never live

I have come close to death four times and got away with it.

I was diagnosed with a pre cancerous condition 15 years ago. I changed my diet, exercise more and take my medication. Everyone I started treatment with is gone and I am still here.

So - do not be frightened of death - the moment you are born you are heading for it. Just lead a healthy sensible life and do not worry about it!!!!

Its not such much that I am afraid of what happens after I die...as a matter of fact, I am looking forward to that part. What I am afraid of is HOW I am going to die. For instance, am I going to die a painful, long drawn out death, ot will I go quickly in my sleep. That's what frightens me the most.

I use to be but not anymore. I guess I am afraid of the ways I could die but death in itself does not scare me.

Not exactly. As long as u've lived a good life, ur fine. Am not saying that I lived a good life, but whatever awaits me after death, I deserved it and that's fine with me. At least death is fair, unlike most of what is happening on Earth nowadays...

I am absolutely afraid of death and pain for that matter. I want to see my daughter get her license, go to college, and I want to dance at her wedding. I don't want to miss any of that and death would sure put a damper on things.
