1) Put x = r cos(x)
Put y = r sin(x)

2) Subtitute 1) in 4x +3y = 10 , we obtain :

4(r cos(x)) + 3(r sin(x)) = 10

4rcos(x) + 3r sin(x) = 10

r( 4cos(x) + 3sin(x) = 10

r = 10/(4cos(x) + 3sin(x))

Use x = r cos t and y = r sin t. Thus,
4x + 3y = 4r cos t + 3r sin t = 10, or
r = 10/(4 cos t + 3 sin t) .
