Adrenaline (epinephrine) are what most people think of when they think of emergency hormones (fight or flight response). However nothing in the human body is quite that simple. Severe stress also triggers the release of cortisol, endorphins (aka what "adrenaline" junkies are really going for), vasopressin, norepineprine among others.
