I agree with this team that would be a ridiculous team (if they were actually teammates) but in a couple of years Chris Paul could be in there at PG

An all star team does not necissarily win the championship, even in the NBA; otherwise, the USA Summer Olympics basketball team would have won ever Olympics Gold medal just as a bunch of 20ish year old amateurs from the USA would not have defeated a Soviet Union All Star team of veteran much older Soviets for the Gold Medal in hockey in the 1960 and 1980 Winter Olympics. Also, the 2004 Lakers Dream Team would have won the NBA championship which was handed to them by the media throughout that season until the Finals.
There would not be enough playing time for a 15 man team of scorers.
I mean Tim Duncan has won 4 NBA rings averaging at least 20 ppg in the regular season while not being a tremendous scorer much less that much of a prolific shooter without a teammate who has ever averaged 20 ppg in those 4 NBA championship seasons. The point that I am trying to make is that a "team" could never be made up of prolific scorers without a lot of bad blood.
I mean there was enough bad blood just between Shaq and Kobe which eliminated the Lakers definitely from the 1999 and 2003 NBA playoffs.
The terms and strategy of PG, SG, SF, and PF did not come into use either as a term or as a basketball strategy until the 1980s.
I would not think of Nash, Johnson, Stockton, Pippen, Malone, Stoudamire (shot less than any other 20 ppg scorer in the 2006-2007 regular NBA season), Duncan (never a big scorer and shot second to the less than any other 20 ppg scorer in the 2006-2007 regular NBA season), and Yao Ming as prolific scorers in their prime in the NBA.
Prolific scorers, maybe not the most prolific scorers of all time, could possibly be, but would not make a good "Dream Team":
A great offensive player cannot be stopped as usually a great offensive player stops himself.
Just a list of a few prolific scorers in points per minutes played (maybe not the highest ever, but just a list) in their prime:
Wilt Chamberlain (100 pts in game, 50 ppg NBA scoring championship, 7 NBA scoring titles)
Elgin Baylor (38.3 ppg for an entire regular NBA season, averaged over 34 points for three consecutive years in the NBA, 61 points in a NBA Final game - an all time NBA playoff record for a Finals series where he averaged well over 40 ppg for an entire NBA Finals series)
Julius Erving (the ABA version never seen in the NBA)
Bernard "Cocaine" King (unstoppable from anywhere on the court in his scoring championship year)
Mike Mitchell (unstoppable from anywhere on the court for about 2 months during Bernard King's scoring championship year)
Travis "Machine Gun" Grant
Stu Johnson (62 points in a game)
James Silas
George Gervin (33 points in one quarter in NBA)
Bob Dandridge
Dale Ellis
Rick Barry
Bob McAdoo
David Thompson
Brian Winters
Spencer Haywood
"Downtown" Freddie Brown
Michael Jordan
Kobe Bryant
Larry Kenon
Oscar Robertson (including not given a NBA scoring championship playing in an injury shortened season where Oscar Robertson only played in 65 games with the highest NBA points per game scoring average; meanwhile, ai has a NBA scoring championship playing in an injury shortened season where ai only played in 60 games; what gives? why does ai get a scoring championship for playing in only 60 games while Oscar Robertson played in 65 games)
ai (no doubt a great player, but ai has only led the NBA in total points for a regular season once in his long NBA career)
George Mikan
Bob Pettit
Alex English
Marvin Barnes
Earl "The Pearl" Monroe
Elvin Hayes
Akeem Olajuwon (Hakeem Olajuwon after 1991)
T-Mc
Joe Fulks
Pete Maravich
Reggie Miller
That is a list of about 33 pro basketball players who could points up on the board by the minute, and I am sure that there are others which you can add to if you would like. Some of the above players may not have been high scorers but could score under pressure when points needed to be put up on the board. And, in no way am I saying that this is a list of the 33 best players or best scorers in pro basketball history.

I have to put Bernard King in there because he is the most underrated player of all-time.The man was crazy, he could shoot, he put it back on the off. board, and dunk.
