Why does my sister think her life is all about herself? She told me she wants to get married with kids someday. Why does she have to be so selfish to not understand that I don't want her getting married because I don't want to be an uncle? Does she seriously think I have no feelings?

Why don't you just cut to the chase and disown your sister? Then it won't matter what she does...it won't effect YOUR day any...she'll just be another stranger you pass on the street.

Sweetie I think that you are the one that has to understand that she has her own life. No matter how much you might want to protect her although I am suspecting you want to protect yourself from growing up, you have to understand that it is her choice. You cannot make choices for her, you would never understand her need till you mature and face it the shoe is on the other foot because you sound like the selfish one to me.

listen you dont want your sister to get married because you dont want to be uncle. If you love your sister you would want her to be happy. I think it is more going on here than meets the eye. you are acting like you dont care about your sister and her feelings as well.

the only selfish one in this story is you... why should she put her life on hold becasue you dont want to be an uncle...... i dont realy want to be a grandmother someday so does that mean i can make my kids stay single and never have sex their entire lives......
