I think people are a little mis-leading.. False negatives are possible and semi-common (stat speaking) false positives ARE also possible aswell, other drugs or pre-exsisting conditions can influence hormone levels and give a false positive. In north america the tests I've used are called 'first responce' tests .. they claim to beable to detect hormone changes within 3 weeks after pregnancy. I would go 4 weeks just to be on the safe side; or buy 2 and use one on week 3 of when you think you 'would be' pregnant and the other on week 4, atleast in canada they are around 17$ CDN. Reciently me any my other have had a simiar experience where she was displaying symptoms of being pregnanant and 2 weeks late for her period. Swollen/tender chest. Pregnancy tests returned negative results both on week 3 and 4. a week later she had her period and things returned to normal; she was also just coming off birth control aswell at the time. If you really want to make sure; visit your Gyno and get a bloodwork test done, these are the most accurate tests that can currently be done.. Good luck and hope this helps; Cheers;

Get a blood test done ASAP! I took about 6 home tests and 2 tests at the Dr.s office. I was 3 months Pregnant before anyone knew it(finally they did a blood test) They sent me for an MRI, thinking I had a tumor on my brain or that something was really wrong. After all the drama and craziness they gave me a blood test and Surprise I was 3 months along. They watched me very closely. My first Dr. visit I heard the heartbeat loud and clear and knew it was a boy. Best of luck to you!!!!!!!!

you may have been pregnant and are getting ready to loose it. I didn't start bleeding until 5 days after the baby stopped growing. I was 5 weeks along at the time. Go to a doc and get a blood test and maybe an ultrasound - you should have all positives this far along!

I hate to say this but if you took 2 and they came out positive and the thir negative either the first two or last one is wrong or a possible misscarriage. Definatly go to the doc and get a blood test done they are always right

Sounds like the health dept. made a mistake especially if a hpt is coming out more accurate, but a blood test is going to be the most accurate out of anything. But if that comes out neg. then have them do an ultrasound
