There is nothing perfect in this world but for me perfection would be that diseases and evil people didnt exist.

i dont believe anyone can define perfect as no one really know what that is. At what point does one or something pass into the realm of flawlessness? Can't it be improved? Who's to say it has nothing to be improved? So perfect is just a term society has created to provide everyone with a goal...

EDIT:
and to those who say that God is perfect, or heaven, those people are probably the closest, as nothing that humans can comprehend could be "perfect"...and humans have argued about omniscient mystical beings since the beginning of time. Hah! What a thought! The thing closest to this "perfect", which everyone strives to be, has been the most conterversial topic since humans existed.

The word 'perfect' is a word that noone in effect, can descibe. You can only describe it for yourself. It means different to everyone, and i've thought about it so much, i don't really know how i wuld describe it!
I guess it is the seemingly happy surroundings. The fact that you are living, and being, i na certain way. The way YOU truly want. But if you're talking about someTHING being perfect, that, to me, would probably mean that it has no flaws, it is completely pristine, in your eyes.
Only the person can see whether it is perfect, not the people
:)

My definition of perfect is that there is no such thing. Nothing on this planet earth is perfect even though most of us would love to be.

prefect is flawless. but nothing is flawless so ....nothing is perfect. Perfect to me is a myth, a standard. Something for people to look for, to strive for, to compare to. Perfect or trying to be "perfect" is like trying to find that damn pot of gold at the other side of the rainbow. Its like trying to answer the meaning of life. There is nobody, nothing that is perfect. Its kinda like the word love, no one can truly define the feelings it gives but once they have they exactly know this is "PERFECT" :)

impossible to get my head round. i firmly believe that there is no such thing as perfect. the only things that can be perfect are wishes, thoughts or emotions like that, but they are created in a person's head and are therefore not real. i just can't get my head around something/someone being perfect. call me narrow-minded if you will, but i quite simply can't.

PS. i just KNEW someone was gonna say god. religous people are SO predictable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unconditional love from my kids is perfect.
The way their faces look when they sleep is perfect.
Hearing the words I love you is perfect.
Having someone to share your perfect moments with is perfect.

Unconditional love. wait, some take advantage of that in you.

A baby. wait, if a baby is perfect, why can't have decent social services for all babies.

A sunny day, wait. Too much and I burn , don't need skin cancer.

A dream for something better and memories of blissful past, yeah, thats perfect..............
