Resetting the modem, resets to default settings. All of your custom settings are gone.

You'll need to reconfigure this all again.

When u press that button u reset all the settings on the router, change the settings back and it'll be fine

What do you mean by the host computer. All computers ont a router should be connected to the lan ports, and the router should be configured to log on to the isp and control the connections.

You also need to reboot all the other computers on the network. When you reset the router your DHCP address allocation table got all messed up. There are other ways to address this than to reboot the PC - but reboot is the easiest.

Power cycle everything. Turn off all modems and routers. Shut down your computer. Boot back up. Start up your modem. Start up any routers.
