Yeah - it's a trdition for whoever is already there to not want the next wave of outsiders moving in on their turf. It's not a "white" thing, incidentally - it cuts across all races, lands and cultures, as far as I can tell.

I guess the last time it happened in peacetime was the era of the 1920s when several West Coast states passed Exclusion Acts of one sort or another aimed at keeping the Chinese out. Prior to that we went on a national "binge" of German-hating during World War One, when we even changed the names of certain foods to avoid the German-sounding original names for those foods:
"Hamburger" became "Salisbury Steak".
"Sauerkraut" became "Victory Cabbage"
"Frankfurter" became "Hot Dog".

It is usauly true that white people are guilty of this behavior but the driving force has always been the dollar. All races are guilty of this. What they want out of us is to feel guilty for what they did getting their $
