Yes, I am a grandmother. I have 2 grands, a boy who's 14 and a girl who's 17. I have raised my granddaughter since she was in 2nd grade. My grandson is with his mom now, but he lived with us for several years while young. Thank the Lord I am a young grandma...54....or I would not have had the energy to do it. I get tired and frustrated sometimes, but I would not have changed things, they were a lot better off with me. Have a great day!

No I'm not a granny, maybe one day soon. I believe the grandparents are raising more grand children these days because the parents are both working on their careers. Why do you even need a career, if you aren't with your children. makes no sense to me.

Sweetie-pie;...I'm still raising my 40-something son and his two best friends! (Do you think I maybe did something wrong; parenting-wise?) }:>
**for wxone29...Good answer. Number of Grandparents x number of children x number of grandchildren = number of reasons "why". All the best to you. }:>

My biological parents didn't want me and frankly I love my parents (also my grandparents) they were the best. I had a better childhood with them than I would have ever had with my real parents

I am a grandmother who is helping my daughter raise her baby. My daughter is attending a local college and lives at home now since leaving her child's irresponsible and unstable father.

My parents raised my son. Please, don't be so quick to judge. Unless you are in those circumstances you have no idea how difficult it can be.
