I just pulled up www.familywatchdog.us. There are 3 offenders in my neighborhood i never knew off.
Firstly, i thought molesters and child predators weren't allowed within so many feet of a child, my neighborhood is riddled with kids. One man is .25 miles from my door, that's .25 from my 3 babies! Ugh, what gives these sick assh0les the right to even exist for praying upon young innocent lives? There's nothing stopping them from looking out the window at some girls playing hop scotch and tossing off (pardon me) or sneeking a kid off to the very end of our neighborhood to a wooded area where a vast river is. I'm not sure anyone in my neighborhood knows, it is a small area in the country, should they be made aware - what would you do? Can anything be done? Cause, Human Rights protect them so i'm sure there is nothing i can do.
Man, 3 men within a one mile radius. I know this isn't news to anyone, i'm just shocked and had to vent sorry.
Parent's - It's worth logging onto and it's free!

Great thing, thankfully, they give you pictures of the sicko's. Well, at least for my child's safety i know what they look like but what about all the other children around here. I wuold never wish anything upon them and owuld hate to have a knock on my door to join in a manhunt.
Mature replies please

First of all, the sex offender registry does NOT list ONLY child molesters. People convicted of all types of sex-related crimes, including soliciting prostitution, rape (of adult), and others may be required to register. I am NOT saying that these people are not "undesirables," but the notion that because someone is on the sex offender registry they are targeting children is just plain WRONG.

I agree with you; it is scary to know that there is a predator not too far from your doorstep. Because they do have their human rights to live as they please with restrictions, there isn't too much you can do other than perhaps warning fellow neighbors of the 3 offendors that are in the neighborhood.

Because of your knowledge, it would be wise to keep an eye out and to let fellow neighbors with kids know of the potential danger that is living in your neighborhood and just hope that those 3 men don't do anything that can hurt your family or the families in your neighborhood. And it would be great for them as humans too, that you or anyone else that may know....not to harrass these sex offendors. As someone mentioned they may not be child molestors.

I am not comfortable with this. My daughter was put on a 'child endangerment list' because she got stop and her 2 yrs old had unbuckled his car seat. I got a lawyer and it took hundred of dollars to get her off of it. I agree with the first answer. You never know what people are charged with.

I understand your concern, but.........

I understand your concern but if you are so worried always keep an eye on your kids, this doesn't mean you get to harrass a sex offender or their family. You can't tell everyone else to harrass them either. Believe it or not they still have rights.
