I actually was on board a ship when we seized 2 tons of uncut columbian cocaine. (It was the biggest drug bust in history, back in 92). 2 bales of coke were kept as evidence when we dropped the traffickers off in fort lauderdale for transportation to Miami for trial.
The rest of it had the bales cut open and dumped into the deep blue sea.
(no, we didn't have dolphins or whales following our ship around afterwards, cuz I know you were wondering that)

A lot of the time they use the drugs to break our constitution by acting like Drug Dealers and then arresting people who buy off of them. Which is completely illegal. Just like when the Cops act like drug users (well they do more than act, they actually USE drugs with these people in order to Entrap them). I read an interesting story about a Cop who brought home a bunch of pot and had his wife cook with it.

That depends if the evidence locker is properly secured and monitored or not. There's little question that in a lot of the low-budget rural ramshackle police departments the guys can often help themselves without getting caught.

Yes, I was thinking a Christmas party extravaganza... that has to be the funniest mental image. Cops all screwed up shooting guns, laughing hyterically while jingle bells blares out of the speaker system.

I think they are mixed into the food and drink of the federal bureaucrats and the elected officials in the House and Senate in Washington, D.C. ...
They were glad to see Bill Clinton go, because he was keeping all the crank to himself.

Confiscated contraband that is officially documented (put on paper) will eventually be destroyed. If it doesn't make it on a list, your guess is as good as mine.

Contraband is incinerated if its not being held as evidence. Anything held as evidence is incinerated after its no longer needed.
