very good question - makes me feel like a loser lol ... but ...
The most heroic thing i did was a couple years ago - i had a friend call me and tell me his little cousin was diagnosed with the same cancer that i had a few years back ... he wanted me to go and talk to her and reassure her it would all be okay and tell her about my situation and basically show her "well see i went thought it and I'm okay - and you will be too" - so i did - it was hard for me - but it felt sooo good - and i made her feel much better - so i guess that's kind of heroic ...

On an almost deserted road a truck way in front of me missed a curve and flipped over many times, ejecting the man and woman inside. The truck rolled over the woman once. When I got there all I could do to help was grab a blanket that came out of the truck and use it to hold in the woman's guts and call 911. The guy was hurt bad, but he was OK. I was so numb while the whole thing happened that it only seemed to last a couple minutes, but it was about half an hour. All I ever heard about them again was that they both lived.

I pulled a struggling girl out of a swimming pool once. I weighed about 200 lbs., she weighed about 275. I thought she was going to drown us both. I didn't want to, but I had to to slap her in the face to get her to calm down.

An old lady was about to walk into Target with the bottom of her skirt clinging to her butt. She would've walked right in and everybody would've seen her saggy underwear had I not told her about it.
