No, but then again, 1 i have never been up north and two anyone with any kind of life would not even go up north.

These are mating flights. Often weather triggers the flights, first summer rains bring out ours. They last a bit, the queens gets bred, all the boys die and life returns to normal.

yes, I have and one of the buggers stung me through my jeans the other day while I was out standing, picking okra.
