My husband asked for a divorce, and now my friends keep telling me to start moving on. It's only been about 2 months. Is it too soon? And would my husband be jealous if he saw me out with another man?

He asked for a divorce. Move on. His feelings are no longer any concern of yours. Pick your chin up, get the confidence back, and hit the clubs with your friends.

I'm sure they do get jealous..they're just good at hiding it.
I can't answer if your husband will get jealous, probably not. You said he asked for divorce, right? So that says it all. He wants divorce and he is willing to give you up and he doesn't care if you are with another man or not.

I don't know your husband so I can't say that he'd be jealous or not.
On the other hand, I do know guys that have done what your soon-to-be-ex did. Ask for a divorce and then have a cow because the wife gets on with their lives.
I think some people are so self important that they really believe their mate can't live without them. When they see that life goes on, they just can't handle it......oh well,....time to grow up.....

If he was, he would never admit it. You don't need him back and it shouldn't matter what he does anymore, except stay away from you. Accept that he is out of your life forever and you are better off without him. Move on and this time date for a long, long time before you marry again. Give yourself enough time to get to know the person. Do a lot of talking and asking questions to see if you are on the same page or not.

if he asked you for a divorce what does it really matter. he's telling you that he no longer wants to have a life with you. it might be to soon for you as you're more concerned about your husbands feelings than you are about starting over. he doesn't want you, face it, don't you deserve to have a man in your life who wants only you and who will love you for being who you are.

if he wants the divorce, who freaking cares what he thinks???? Go out and have some fun and dont waste away your life because you are afraid of what your soon to be ex is thinking. I guess he should have thought about that before he asked you for a divorce. Go out and hope to God he sees you having the time of your life WITHOUT HIM!

he might get jealous, he might not. at this point, what does it matter? If he cared enough about the marriage, he wouldve worked at it harder, but u guys are divorced now which means u have the right to continue living ur life and find the guy thats right for you...or are u thinking about whether you'd be jealous if u saw him with another woman?

well, you are not divorce yet right? maybe there is a chance you will reconcile. I wouldn't move on just yet.
besides, I would hope a guy would be smart enough not to get seriously involved with you. That is too much drama. You need space right now; a little you time.

Men do get jealous.. but if you Divorce your husband why do you care what he thinks?
You really probably should not date until your Divorce is final though... it complicates things.

I'm sure he would be jealous. He must have loved you at oe time and that never goes totally away. You need more that 2 months to clear your head and find out what it is you really want.
